About this release

ARCHtown Don is my debut single, but the story began long before the release. It speaks on surviving St. Louis, growing through what the city taught me and becoming the man I once imagined I could be. Survival means more than making it out. It means refusing to let hard years make your vision smaller. St. Louis gave me grit, instinct and seasoning. It taught me how to carry myself, how to recognize struggle and how to keep moving when there was no applause waiting on the other side. Maturity changed my idea of winning. I no longer confuse attention with respect or noise with progress. I understand now that a crown means very little if you have not developed the discipline, character and confidence to carry it. When I call myself a self-made King and a GOAT from my city, I’m speaking from that place. Self-made doesn’t mean nobody ever helped me. It means nobody else could endure the setbacks for me, protect the vision or do the becoming on my behalf. That work was mine. ARCHtown Don is triumphant because I’m still here. Still creating. Still representing St. Louis without pretending the road was easy or forgetting what it took to reach this point. This record marks the moment I stopped asking whether the dream was realistic and began treating it like a responsibility. I’m not asking to be crowned. I’m looking to EARN it.
