About this release

“Red Beret” is one of the many hard-hitting tracks featured on 4th Infantry’s debut album, HOSTILE TAKEOVER — a project built around brotherhood, lyrical warfare, raw underground hip-hop and the unmistakable militant sound of the Infantry. Produced by Toronto’s own Shogun Beatz, “Red Beret” comes charging out of the gates with high-octane energy, thunderous bass, militant horns and pounding drums, creating a cinematic battlefield atmosphere from the moment the beat drops. On the front lines are Iron Wind, Warrzone, QeMical and E Double U, bringing four distinct styles together as one unit. Sharp bars, commanding deliveries and relentless energy make “Red Beret” feel less like a song and more like a full-scale hip-hop assault. This is that raw, aggressive underground sound built for loud speakers, live stages and anybody who still wants their hip-hop rugged, lyrical and unapologetic.
