RADIO ON THE TAILGATE “Radio on the Tailgate” is more than a show—it’s a traveling celebration of music, faith, sports, neighbors, and the American spirit. Wherever the tailgate drops, the good times begin. You might find us outside a Friday-night football game, near the entrance to a baseball field, at a church gathering, community festival, charity benefit, car show, campground, or hometown business. If people are ready to come together, we are ready to turn that tailgate into a stage. From the back of the truck, we can interview local athletes, coaches, pastors, veterans, musicians, business owners, and everyday people with remarkable stories. We can play great music, recognize community heroes, promote upcoming events, share encouraging messages, and give local talent a place to be heard. One week we may be talking football and grilling hamburgers; the next, sharing gospel music outside a church or visiting a county fair. The tailgate can also become a small traveling merchandise stand featuring Wayne R music, shirts, hats, posters, CDs, photographs, and other special items. Fans can stop by, shake hands, take pictures, request a song, purchase merchandise, and become part of the program. No expensive studio. No walls separating us from the audience. Just a truck, a tailgate, a microphone, and real people sharing real moments. “Radio on the Tailgate” takes the show directly to the community—one town, one event, and one unforgettable tailgate at a time.
